A Trail

A trail is much like our Christian walk with God threw life. As we walk up the trail there are so many rocks, stumps and distractions along the trail, but you can't let that get you down. Sometimes you stumble and stop along the trail and want to rest, but you have to pick yourself up and keep going. Then it starts getting dark and you have to turn on your head lamp so you can see where you are walking. There are times when you stop on the trail and set up camp but you can't stay there forever you have to pack up camp and keep going on the trail. If you stay at there then you will not be making any progress up the trail and eventually we will run out of food and give up. If we keep going up the trail and we don't think about our body being tired we will finish the trail and get to the van and go home.





In our Christian life we are walking that trail to heaven, and we walk with God. As we walk down that trail there are many stumbling blocks along the trail that we get held up on. We cannot dwell on those stumbling blocks, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14. We need to just pick our self up and move up the trail and put it behind us. There are many times when we are walking up the trail of life and get distracted and take our eyes off the path and we stumble. God is the leader of the trail and we need to keep our hearts focused on Him, and the Bible is our lamp to guide us down the path, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105, but remember God is also our our lamp, "For thou art my lamp, O Lord: and the Lord will lighten my darkness."2 Samuel 22:29. As soon as we shut the Bible we will fall off the path and our life will be even more difficult. we need to stay in the Bible so it will be easier to live our life. Our Christian life is never easy but if we trust in God and we stay in the Bible and Pray it will be much easier. Then we will continue up the path and get to the end of the trail and come to the end of our life and go to heaven to be will our wonderful Lord and Savior.
